Pearson Test of English is test system designed to evaluate ability of English for those candidates, who wish to produced towards English speaking countries (where it is accepted) either under student’s category or as Permanent Resident.
There are two modules – Academic and General. The student or the candidates need to consult is under which module their eligibility is tested.
Pearson test of English checks the ability of English language based on four skills – Speaking, Writing, Reading and Listening.
The Test concludes in one day as it costs for 3 hours in which all the four skills are assessed. The appearing candidate needs to take exams at the related centre by paying fees. On the exam day the candidate needs to bring the Id proof (official) having all the details of Name, Address as per mentioned by PTE board. The result is declared in 3-5 days (Please check the PTE website).
PTE certification is accepted by many countries like Australia, U.K., New Zealand, USA, Canada (Check with countries eligibility criteria or legal consultant.
PTE test done is evaluated in points. As total each skill and overall score comprise of 90 points. Grammar, Spelling, Vocabulary and Written discourse are also evaluated.
